Juddy Montenegro joined the City of La Habra as Economic Development Project Manager in June 2022. Prior to joining La Habra, Juddy worked for the City of Downey for 14 years in various capacities, most recently as Management Analyst/Public Information Officer. During her time in Downey, she spearheaded various community projects involving neighborhood revitalization, business watch programs, veteran services, homeless outreach, and city-wide events. In her role as Public information Officer, she was responsible for the City’s communication channels including city website, social media outlets, and official publications. Prior to working for Downey, Juddy worked for the cities of Whittier and Santa Ana. Juddy holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cal State University Fullerton. As a La Habra resident, Juddy takes great pride in serving the community she calls home. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young children.
