La Habra's 18th annual Spring Family Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at La Bonita Park, 1440 W. Whittier Blvd. Activities will include age-specific egg hunts, with a helicopter egg drop at 9:30 a.m. There is a charge to participant in the egg hunts; pre-sale wristbands for $3 per person can be purchased at the Community Center until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th. Wristbands will be $4 per person if purchased at the park the day of the event, cash only. Egg hunts will be held for specific age groups at the following times: 9:00 a.m.: special needs participants & seniors 60 years and older, 9:15 a.m.: 0-2 & 3-4 year olds, 9:35 a.m.: 5-6 year olds, 9:50 a.m.: 7-8 year olds, 10:05 a.m. 9-10 & 11-12 year olds, 10:20 a.m.: teens & adults. In addition to egg hunts, the event will in will include an Eggs-Treme Kid Zone with games, crafts, inflatables, balloon twisters, music and more, and a vendor area. The Eggstravangza also will include the Our Lady of Guadalupe outreach trailer, the La Habra Host Lions Club Pancake Breakfast (additional charge), and the La Habra Family Resource Center's Family Health Fair, featuring 30+ non-profit organizations.
