You're invited to La Habra's 4th Annual Tamale Festival, hosted by the City of La Habra and presented by Northgate Market, which will take place on Sunday, November 26th, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event, which is the largest tamale festival in Orange County, is held on Euclid St., between La Habra Blvd. and Lambert Rd., with activities also in Brio and Portola Parks, which are located in that area. Activities will include tamale and salsa contests, churro eating contests, dance performances, as well as musical performances by Soto, with its top 40, cumbias and salsa tunes, and Mariachi Espectacular; trumpeter Cindy Shea will be appearing with the latter group. There will be many vendors selling a variety of merchandise, and, of course, many tamale vendors.
