Mysterium Theater opens its summer season with a production of Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man", a family-friendly favorite. Filled with classic music numbers like "Seventy-Six Trombones", "(Ya Got) Trouble" and "Till There Was You", The plot concerns con man Harold Hill, who poses as a boys' band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to the naive Iowa townsfolk, promising to train the members of the new band. But Harold is no musician and plans to skip town without giving any music lessons, until he meets the town librarian. Performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 8:01 p.m. and on Sunday nights at 7:01 p.m., through Sunday, July 17th.
