Captain of Operations-Brian Miller


Captain Miller began his law enforcement career with the La Habra Police Department in 2006.


Captain Miller has worked a variety of assignments, such as Motor Officer, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant & Lieutenant, Detective Sergeant, Professional Standards Unit Lieutenant, and the North County SWAT Commander.


Captain Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Human Resources from Cal Poly Pomona, and a Master of Science in Criminology and Law from the University of California, Irvine. He is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute, the LAPD West Point Leadership Program and the Senior Management Institute for Police Program.

Captain of Services-Daniel Barnes


Captain Barnes began his law enforcement career with the La Habra Police Department in 1993.

Throughout his career, Captain Barnes has served as an officer on patrol, Detective for the Special Investigations Unit, Investigations Detective Sergeant for the General and Special Investigations Unit, a K-9 Unit Supervisor, and Lieutenant for patrol and Professional Standards.

Lt. Barnes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Union Institute & University.
