Park Usage Coordination

The Recreation Division manages the use of City parks by individuals and affiliates, as well as coordinating the joint use of City and elementary and middle school athletic fields with the various school districts in the City, working closely with local nonprofit organizations such as Little League, AYSO, and Pop Warner that meet the requirements set out in the City's Sports Affiliate policy.

Private parties are permitted at Community parks. The City does not take reservations, with the exception of Brio and Portola Parks; park usage is first come, first served. If you plan to have a jumper at your party, you must visit the Community Center and complete an "application to use public facility" form, and arrange for the business providing the jumper to email Andrea Lira a copy of their proof of insurance naming the City of La Habra as additionally insured for $1,000,000.

The City does NOT permit the following:

  • bounce house/jumper/inflatables that include a water feature
  • petting zoos
  • pony rides
  • trains
  • laser tag set-ups
  • bubble soccer

For more information, please contact the Community Center at 562-383-4200.
