Older youth, ages 18-24, have the opportunity to participate in the On-the-Job Training (OJT) component. Through an OJT opportunity, a participant will be placed at an actual business and earn money while they receive training. The case manager and employer will negotiate the amount of training hours needed to be proficient at the position, as well as negotiate competitive wage. With our OJT dollars, we will reimburse the employer up to 90% of the participant's wage during their training period, in addition to receiving valuable tax credits and incentives.
