Special Assignments

Officers are eligible for special assignments after one to three years depending on the special assignment.

Special Assignments

• Detectives-General Investigations (Crimes against persons/Property Crimes)Special Investigations (Gangs and Narcotics)
• Traffic- Motors/Commercial Enforcement and Accident Reconstruction Team
• SWAT- North Orange County SWAT
• Regional Task Force
• Field Training Officer
• Canine officer (2 handlers)
• School Resource Officers (3 SROs)
• Bike Patrol
• Honor Guard
