Records Bureau
The Records Bureau is open to the public Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you have any questions, prior to visiting our department, you can contact us at (562) 383-4316. We encourage you to double check with the Records staff, prior to visiting, to verify that you have all the necessary paperwork or materials needed to ensure that our personnel can assist you with your needs. Some services may be limited to certain days/hours of the week, and/or available by appointment only.
The Records Bureau is an essential division of the La Habra Police Department. Comprised of civilian employees, the Records Bureau operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Records Bureau is located just inside the entry of the Police Department and is one of the busiest places in the building. At the front counter, the Police Service Aides or Records Specialists provide courteous assistance and direction. The Records Specialists handle confidential communications with other justice agencies, prepare paperwork needed by the courts, send important letters to citizens, and help residents with questions over the telephone or at the front counter.
